Sortloud respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data when you use the app to analyze resumes against job descriptions.
2. What Data We Collect
The app may collect:
- Job descriptions entered by users
- Resume files uploaded by users
- Basic usage data for improving the product
We do not require you to create an account or personal profile to use the preview version of Sortloud.
3. How We Use the Data
We use the data only to:
- Analyze resumes against job descriptions
- Generate match scores and explanations
- Improve product quality and performance
4. AI Processing
Resumes and job descriptions are processed using AI models. This processing happens on the backend as part of the service. Your data is not used to train public AI models.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Uploaded files are stored temporarily so that you can view results and revisit a shortlist for a short period. Data is deleted periodically. During the preview phase, we do not intend to keep long-term records of the data you upload.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except for the services needed to provide AI processing and run Sortloud. These services only receive the data required to perform their role.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect the data we handle. However, no system can offer 100% security, and you should only upload information you are allowed to share for hiring purposes.
8. User Responsibility
Sortloud provides assistive insights to help you review resumes more consistently. Hiring decisions, including who to shortlist or reject, remain your responsibility.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Sortloud evolves. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we may provide additional notice inside the app.
